Don't be so hard on yourself! There was a plot, character development, conflict, and everything else needed to make a coherent story. And a good one, at that! I really like the idea of the alternate dimension with his feminine alter-ego.
If you want to, develop this story even more! I liked it, and would be glad to see more of it!

Hey, setting and characters without a plot is completely OK! You paint very interesting worlds :)

I really like the idea you presented here, and continue to be impressed by your writing; hope to continue to see whatever you feel like posting!

Author's Response: Well, we can just consider them TG takes on the Lady and the Tiger, I guess? Right? Right! It's all just a literary mechanism. You'll see the wisdom of it later.

I will find wicked ways to torture you if you don't finish.

Author's Response: Babe, you already did! I can't get The Wish out of my head. What a little gem!

Wow, amazing. I actually tried lucid dreaming to try the exact same thing, but it didn't quite work out as well as in this story, unfortunately ;D

Author's Response: That was exactly my starting point. When at first you don't succeed, fantasize that you did.

You should try to open complete this story; this time from the POV of the former girl version of the main character

Author's Response: "Open complete"? I like the idea of following the other POV and had actually already thought about it, but I'm not sure that gets me an actual story.

Author's Response: You and me both, sister. I'm great at setups. Not so hot with follow-through.
