Lovely! And unusual. Fun escapist (literally and figuratively) fantasy, thanks for sharing it.

This was such a lovely story, May =^o^= I loved how you described moths in this story, with their antennae, and their wings bring like capes, and their dense fur :3! That’s a lovely bookend of an ending, too =^^=! This was a lovely story, and I hope you write more.

I am rather impressed with your prose and your intended punctuality.

There are SO many unfinished stories on here....

Pretty much any of the readers here would be Blessed
and do well
to check this out.

Many people nowadays can surely relate to your main character on many levels,
aside from the Quarantine.

I appreciate the way you are unfolding their Heart and their pain...
Hopefully,
towards better things.

Thank You for posting!

“The Flame and the Moth”
By Orleans
1979

Once in a while, it crosses my mind
That Love in this world is so hard to find
It may seem to you that I should be satisfied
To take what I've got and hold this,
hold this inside

I've often been told what money can buy
But Love can't be sold, the price is too high
You may take my body, wrap me in chains
Love in my heart always, always remains

But I can't see the light if my eyes are not open
And I know it ain't right, the road that's been taken
But we're all here together and there's just no way off
If you're blinded by the glitter like the flame (Yeah)
the Flame blinds the moth

Springtime is fine for planting the seeds
In summer, life grows, troubled by weeds
The autumn grows cool and everyone soon learns
That wintertime's fool,the frost,
the frost quickly burns

But I can't see the light if my eyes are not open
And I know it ain't right, the road that's been taken
But we're all here together and there's just no way off
If you're blinded by the glitter like the flame (Yeah)
the Flame blinds the moth

But I can't see the light if my eyes are not open
And I know it ain't right, the road that's been taken
But we're all here together and there's just no way off
If you're blinded by the glitter like the flame (Yeah)
the Flame blinds the moth

Author's Response: Haha thanks for the review! In regards to my punctuality, it helps that I already have the text completely written and edited, so I just need to upload it. I'm also glad to hear that you liked my prose and the story over all so far, I put a lot of effort into this story, and I hope it meets your expectation. Thanks for reading!
