"Author's Response: At the time when I wrote that I didn't think it was right to have an entire building devoted to body swapping when the process is so easy"
It seemed entirely reasonable to me, since you had mentioned the genetic programming. Surely genetic programming would require at least as many support personnel as computer programming.
So they would need an office. Space at a strip mall or whatever would do just fine, doesn't need an actual dedicated purpose-built building.
Anyway, I think the genetic mods are the way to expand this story universe. Sometimes people want something they see in others (especially the other gender), but might find odd or difficult if they had to experience it themselves. Seems like a fun concept to explore. I kind of figured that's where you were going with this story line.
Also, he definitely needs to go to the wedding as a bridesmaid. It happens to be a kink of mine (transgendered/swapped bridesmaid), but I'm confident that it's not a selfish request on my part. It's logical and fits the story line if he submits (keyword there) to an extension in order to attend the wedding as a bridesmaid.

"a suit is a suit"
Yup, men are boring, we like it that way. Wearing interesting clothing is women's work, lol. Fun story, looking forward to what you're going to do next. Will be especially interesting if they go to the wedding swapped.
Also, the genetic alterations sound like they have promise, as well.
Author's Response: At the time when I wrote that I didn't think it was right to have an entire building devoted to body swapping when the process is so easy so I sort of just threw that in there. I was just thinking today about maybe incorporating that back into the story at some point but we will see.

"Back when I was in high school I was at a party and this girl just walked up to me and started grabbing on me, most men wouldn't mind that but it actually made me very uncomfortable."
Happened to me a few times. Yeah, it's extremely off-putting. As a 6'5" and 250-lb guy, it's pretty rare and not remotely physically threatening, but still extremely freaky. For a woman, especially a petite woman, I assume it has to be terrifying. I have no idea how women learn to put up with that stuff.
Author's Response: Yeah I'm 6'2" and about 240, it's only happened to me once and it just sort of popped into my head while I was writing this. Like you said, it wasn't threatening but it made me extremely uncomfortable. That's why I keep my hands to myself when I'm around women.
