Great little story. Though it's also a great start for a longer story if you ever feel like adding more. Perhaps after you get back into the swing of things and are ready to finish your other long stories you might look into expanding on this one.
Author's Response: *nod* Right now Iím in the process of giving an epilogue to Alchemist Potion. That should free up a mental slot for a longer story.

Interesting twist at the end....
Author's Response: Thank you. I donít see it as much of a twist as it is the logical progression in my eyes - why would a person with a lot of internalized sexism shake it off by realizing they are a woman? No no, our heckler might be starting to accept her gender, but her greater view of the world remains a work in progress.

"Because I am *definitely* still a man inside."
Yeah, ok honey. Suuuuuuuure you are.
lmao, jeez Feli, you're just great at simultaneously hitting feels and humor with these stories, I swear x3
Author's Response: It's my brand!

I love it! I was instantly drawn into this world, and I think you might have a really great setting if you fleshed it out. Assuming it isn't already. Your writing is great as always, but this story was exceptionally well written. I really find myself wanting to know more about this almost western feeling world. Gosh.
As for the story... well it was damn cathartic. Dealing with so many idiots just like this person, it was nice to see her put in her place, but also helped. Because those people always have the potential for a good and kind person inside, even if it's buried deep. I think this might be my favorite short story... period.
Awesome work Feli
Author's Response: Thank you for the lovely review.

Omg, feli!! This story is a treasure of the Internet sea, a pure pearl of emotion and joy to read. Tora action where so nice, and this is absolutely not a bad punishment, in my eyes it is literraly a gift and being a half animal? Is in no way a curse apparence mean nothing what count is deep inside who you are. I hope the mouse girl, gonna open her eyes and accept who she is it pain me to know that she have hated others girl like her in jealousy and hate for what she wasn't lucky to have, make my own heart aching. The world building and the character building look incredibly detailed that I can clearly made this chapter a whole movie in my head. Seriously you have outdone yourself Feli and I'm awaiting the next chapter and this story with great joy ^^, take your time for the others story what count is your feeling and if you enjoy making that story then you can count on people to see it in your writing

Oh no, she went from incel to tradwife! Well, liberating someone of preconceived notions of submissiveness is easier than having them realise they're envious of the women they claim are cheaters. I enjoy this story, and the cat mage is a delight to read, character wise. Now we just need a train heist to be able to make a machine reach 88 miles per hour.
Author's Response: Well, it's more a question that shaking off the misogyny is not gonna happen in a day, whether a gender realisation happens... And whether they accept that realisation or not.
