Just recently came across this and I love the story so far. The beginning was rough so I wasn’t optimistic of how things would proceed, but fortunately the situation got a lot better and I was quite moved by a lot of scenes. Some details really resonated with me, especially since I was also a very quiet, bookish kid. I think you also did quite well with the premise of sticking to believable coincidences/misunderstandings contributing to Avery’s transformation.

If there’s one thing I’m dissatisfied with it’s that there’s quite a few typoes and grammatical mistakes. This isn’t a big deal, but with the main character being an avid reader of books who often uses a dictionary, it feels like a strange incongruence to me.

I’m very interested to see how Avery will grow in the future and how their relationship with the Nelsons and Ashley will develop. I really hope to see the story continued and look forwards to future chapters!

Oh my God, a real tear jerker. I've felt like crying reading a story before but you actually made me cry.
Ashley and Avery having to part is so sad.
Please keep writing, I love this story.

Author's Response: Thank you. I hated breaking them up but it needed to happen. I was sad writing that and it makes me happy to see that some of that carried into the story.
