I am sorry to have to say this, but if you decide to use Greek and other mythical figures for your story you might as well get the associations right. I suggest you read Who's Who in Classical Mythology, Weidenfeld and Nicholson Ltd. London for the Greek and:
Gods in Ancient Egypt, Oskar Kaelin, Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Religion, Myth and Legend Online Publication Date: Nov 2016, unless you insist on using Marvel comicsa as a source, in which case this story you should class as fan fiction, so that people are warned.
Just a few hints: Zeus is the leader of Olympos and the god of thunder and lightning, Demeter is female and Poseideon, even though carrying the byname Shaker of the Earth, is the god of the seas. I won't bother to comment any further.
No stars for a bad start like that,
Author's Response: Hi. Thanks for the review. Poseidon was just a typo (happens when uploading late at night), but I didn't know Demeter was girl. I'll also give those books a read, but i was wondering. There are so many interpretations of family connections in mythology, e.g Nephthys being both Horus' and Isis' sibling, yet Isis is Horus' mother?, so do you recommend using the most common interpretation or the one that works best for the story? Thanks again, Chronokitty
