I think you two pretty much nailed every main cast's personality down, although they're not really explicit to see, I like it more that way. Action, Romance and Angst are an interesting combination. I'd love to see you balance them out nicely cuz taking favorite of one genre tends to backfire in a lot of cases. With that said, I look forward to seeing the update.

The story seems good, although I am very much of the opinion that you introduce too many characters, without fleshing out any of them. 200 words isn't enough to immediately separate two scared kids from one another, they're to similar at first glance, I can barely tell them apart. The prologue seems way to short, it barely establishes context, it does absolutely no world building. You need to sell the world and culture of a conquered human race to create interest in seeing the story.

So in conclusion, I feel you need to widen the scope to show us what the world you've created looks like, while doing more to characterize each individual. That said, the story seems good so far, and I'll be looking forward to more of it
