OK, now that's clever! Yeah, don't take it down! I wouldn't have found it in 2018 if you'd taken it down in 2016, after all. History is a good thing.

Author's Response: I appreciate it, and yes now compared to when I made that last comment, I believe more strongly that once I publish something, it isn't fair to take it down. It ceases to be only the author's love but now that love is shared with thousands of people.

I first read this story a while back. I'll say now what I should have said then:

In the realm of TG fiction the same plots and tropes are often rehashed. There are few original stories - but this is one of them!

Although I wouldn't change a thing about the story, I must confess that I really was rooting for the virus so the ending was bittersweet.

Author's Response: Heh, thanks for another review. Yeah this was a few years back. I had a problem worse then than I have now, though I still have it, and that is that if I get distracted while I'm writing, I'll tend to forget *why* I'm writing, and move to my default: coming up with clever twists in my stories. But I'm not an author's author. I am not interested in elaborate narratives, though the story almost always gets away from me (I did ok with "Fascinating" though). I want to be as efficient with my writing time as possible, so how can I put as much sexiness in as little writing as I can. That being said, I absolutely love a very slow buildup. Anyway, in 2014, when I wrote this story, my writing was heavily influenced by Minikisa's story "The Itch" (check it out if you haven't read it. Dragonslayer is pretty good too. Though Minikisa's biggest story, one of the most popular of all time on the site, is Of Heroes and Villains, but... I don't know. I couldn't get into it. Not a superhero guy I guess.) "The Itch" is the first time I read such a nice narrative with the female's perspective on a M2F transformation. I mean, rather than the person being transformed freaking out, it is the girlfriend, and rather than the person being transformed getting corrupted, once again it's the girlfriend. Very unique. I'm not sure how I feel about you reading my old stories. I sometimes feel like taking them down, but I probably never will, because I know how annoyed I am when a story I like gets taken down, and maybe out there there's someone who bookmarked what I wrote, so what's the harm really in keeping it up. Read them if you wish, but if you have something to criticize, keep it to yourself, because I like to think I've improved since then, and I'm actually pretty thin skinned. :)

Other reviews said it better; "delightful." The twist was unexpected, but also fresh and enjoyable.

Author's Response: Thanks! TG Storytime has like the best community. :) And I only started writing here because I really liked the software platform this site runs on...

That twist really surprised me. With the title, I was half-expecting the man and his girlfriend to become victims, but that... well, not often a virus succumbs to infection.

Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you. :)
