Well that was interesting, quite odd though and missing details. 3 stars

(And that name of this story reminds of that old song, do you know the one?)

Other reviewers have said it all. Well written; a success.

The story of the Thrall just screamed "To Serve Man" I almost imagined that they even looked like Kanamits. But when San became Titania, I loved how that was handled I wish the story could be told from her point of view. But it was still really good. I do like how even though we did get the "It's a Cookbook!!!" moment, we did get a happy ending for Marcus and Titania. 5 out of 5 for everything. Including not shying away from the fact that it was paying homage to The Twilight Zone.

Ooo! I like! So Marcus was both right and wrong. The lobster tank scene makes a lot more sense now. Hmmm... To serve man. :)

Author's Response: "To serve man..." I was thinking that when I wrote it, both the old sci-fi cliche and the awesome Simpson's satire. Hopefully, this story is a worthy addition to the pantheon. :-)

This is interesting. I don't really believe in high sci-fi, but your story seems to overlap with reality. Coincidentally, I fantasised about body scanners, such as the very drier-like machine you described. Transhumanists are trying to work on mind uploading and mind-altering.
I you can find my story here, and I also have my own web site:
Great story! 0:-) What inspired you to write it?

Author's Response: What inspired me? I really just began with the characters and their initial situation. After that, it developed the way it did because I read a lot of sci-fi. Write what you know.
